Challenge 02 : Wireframing
For this challenge as well as for exercise number 2 I chose one of my favorite apps: “Dribbble”.
I love its simplicity and how intuitive it is. One of the things that surprised me the most when I had to recreate were all the little details that usually go unnoticed, for instance, the different tracking and kerning on each text field, it may look the same but almost all of them are different.
I chose this app in particular because I feel it’s an excellent platform for designers, it makes you feel part of a community and on a daily basis you can find inspiration and see how trends are initiated here. Also, the most competitive companies make their recruitment through Dribble. This is why I feel it’s on point with the challenge and my curiosity lead me to learn more of its structure.
For the UI elements these are the ones present on my screens:
The workflow that I chose is pretty straightforward. You have your feed with the users that you follow, then you jump to check the post that you like and go back. Check your activity and if you are interested go to the job section to apply if you liked one.
To simplify the workflow I made lo-fi screens and the wireframe looks like this:
What fascinates me the most is that all the beauty of the app comes from the art on the posts, and it’s not that easy to place and choose the right elements to frame and present this without taking away from every art piece.
Prototype
For the prototype you can interact with it here
Hope you like it! =)
